Daymon Worldwide -- a full-service sales and marketing firm -- specializes in promoting "private labels," also known as store brands. Daymon boasts retail partners in nearly 20,000 stores around the globe. In the U.S., the firm's grocery "customers" account for almost one-third of the nation's grocery sales, while Daymon's customers represents 50 percent of sales in the warehouse/wholesale club division, and one-third of all sales in the drug store division.
The company operates in several areas: business development, information systems, information resources, category solutions and consumer marketing. Clients include some of the leading retail, wholesale and food service companies worldwide; customers include supermarket and drug chains, mass merchandisers, warehouse clubs, specialty stores, food service, buying cooperatives and wholesale distributors. In addition, Daymon serves over 3,500 manufacturers of private label products worldwide. The firm also organizes a convention, the Daymon Worldwide Private Label Forum, which nearly 800 people attended in 2006.
