Campbell Alliance Group, founded in 1997 by John Campbell, is home to management consultants who are experts in the biopharmaceutical and medical technology industries. Due to this intense focus, the firm primarily hires consultants who have years of experience working directly in biopharma or medical technology, or as consultants to the industry.
That is not to say that there is no diversity in the experience and expertise of the consultants at Campbell Alliance. The firm provides services through six main practice areas. The brand management practice assists companies with new product planning and in maximizing the commercial performance of drugs; the clinical development group helps make new drug development more efficient, both fiscally and time-wise; the commercial effectiveness team helps clients develop and implement commercial models, operations and new capabilities and training programs; the corporate development group focuses on developing corporate strategies and in-/out-licensing for clients; the medical affairs practice helps medical affairs departments work better at the organizational level and also helps develop product-specific medical affairs strategies; and the pricing and market access group helps clients with issues related to accessing markets that are becoming "increasingly dominated by third-party payers."
