Vault’s Verdict: Despite a slight cloud cast over the firm’s culture by the “push to win more ’Magic Circle’ work”, trainees still enjoy BLP’s friendly, social atmosphere. (“Having a sense of humour is crucial!” adds one insider.) Trainees also appreciate the varied, interesting work, although a few second-years would like a little more challenge.
