The ubiquitous label maker is the largest label and paper products producer in the world. Known primarily for its mailing labels, adhesive papers and its stamps (employed by the U.S. Postal Service), the firm also makes labels for bottles and jars, office supplies, school supplies and craft materials. Fueling everyone from the secretary to the scrapbooker, Avery Dennison employs over 22,000 souls and sells its sticky supplies in 89 nations--and, in the process, drew 2006 revenue of a whopping $5.6 billion dollars.
