Associate Life

Satisfaction
• “I enjoy the work I do, I enjoy my paycheck, and I enjoy how much pro bono I am able to do. I just wish the billable requirement were a little lower.”
• “I work with people I consider friends, doing work that I find interesting and that I'm generally able to select and manage myself.”
• “I get a great deal of responsibility. The firm encourages associates to grow and to strive for partnership opportunities. But the pay lags behind other firms in New York.”
• “Junior associates get a lot of hands-on, substantive experience at an early stage of their legal careers. I wish there were more formal training opportunities and better management of work flow, but overall it's a great place to be.”
