NEW YORK, May 21, 2008. Vault.com, Inc. today announced the appointment of
veteran digital media executive Elizabeth Rose as Chief Digital Officer, effective
immediately. In this newly-created role, Ms. Rose is responsible for the strategic
direction and operation of all digital activity at Vault, including the company’s website,
e-commerce initiatives and distribution of content across platforms. Based in New York,
Ms. Rose reports to Erik Sorenson, Vault CEO.
“I am delighted that Elizabeth is joining the Vault senior management team at this critical
juncture in the company’s development,” said Mr. Sorenson. “Her management
experience and track record of success in the digital arena will be invaluable as we build
on Vault’s historical strengths to become the leading career brand for consumers -- and a
vital partner for recruiters and advertisers.”
In late 2007, Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a leading private equity investor in the media,
communications, information and education industries, acquired a majority stake in
Vault. At that time, Mr. Sorenson, a media industry veteran, was named CEO and
charged with growing the business into a global, cross-platform leader within the highly
competitive career space. In 2008, millions of professionals and students will consume
Vault’s content on various platforms including its main website, Vault.com, and its
Career Library product, which is licensed to nearly 1000 institutions worldwide.

About Elizabeth Rose
Ms. Rose has nearly fifteen years of digital experience. As an early member of
McKinsey’s Interactive Media practice, she co-authored the consulting firm’s first white
paper about the Web in 1995. In 1996, Ms. Rose joined BMG Direct and served as Vice
President, Strategic Planning and Electronic Commerce and took line responsibility for
leading the growth of its Web business into a top 10 global commerce site.
In 2003, Ms. Rose was appointed Senior Vice President of Strategy at Travelzoo, where
she was responsible for new product development and growth strategies. In 2005, Ms.
Rose began consulting independently for numerous media companies, focusing on
Internet content and commerce strategy. She holds an undergraduate degree in history
from Rice University and an MBA from Columbia University.
