As part of the college’s strategic vision, the board will be responsible for developing strategies to recognize and engage the diverse and multicultural backgrounds of our community members. We believe that future leaders must develop a competency in cultural sensitivity and understand how one’s culture, history and background informs and shapes one’s perspective and world view and how to effectively integrate these diverse perspectives into developing business solutions that impact people, planet and profit. Our curriculum must create opportunities for students to develop a core skill set and capability in cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural leadership.
