The key word at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business is entrepreneurship. In fact, the school has kept the top spot in U.S. News & World Report's entrepreneurship category 15 years running, from 1994 to 2008. This focus means that many students are angling to start their own businesses straight out of the program, though some graduates do take jobs across New England, particularly in the Boston area.

The MBA is offered in a number of formats, including one, year and two, year onsite programs, through evening classes and an accelerated part, time program, which combines classroom and distance learning. Olin's full, time curriculum is broken up into modules, with the first four devoted to required courses and the last ones open to specialty concentrations. Electives are grouped into six career tracks, ranging from consulting to financial services to global management.

Olin MBAs choose from four optional 'intensity tracks' in finance immersion, entrepreneurship, managing tech, intensive enterprises and the Babson College Fund. The Babson College Fund program, intended for students interested in money management, allows a group of MBA students to manage a portion of the Babson endowment.
