University of Denver's business school, one of the first business colleges in the U.S., was originally created in 1908 as the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance. By 1946, it had been renamed the College of Business Administration and in 1994 became the Daniels College of Business. Today, the school offers full,time, part,time, executive and international MBA programs, several of which have been recognized in rankings from BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal and U.S. News & World Report. Daniels also offers a dual MBA/JD for students who wish to study business and law concurrently. As for the MBA curriculum, students tell Vault that the program is 'based around ethical decision,making, which can be seen in every course.' The work is 'rigorous and interesting' and features 'excellent faculty members.'

If you plan to apply to the Daniels College of Business, expect an 'efficient and transparent' process, albeit a 'fairly competitive' one, students say in the Buzz Book surveys. As for employment upon graduation, there are 'a number of on,campus recruiting events,' 'great local employers' and 'strong employment prospects.' The career office also receives high marks from students, who report the office offers 'clinics on resume writing, interviewing and various networking events.'
