Both those aren't the only options, as JD students can earn certification in international law or concentrate in such areas as criminal law and intellectual property law. Pace Law's alumni network spread across the tri-state area, and is instrumental in obtaining placement for graduates. Though as you might expect, the school's reputation carries the most weight in environmental law-focused practices. Pace Law's campus is in a quiet, residential area; students tell Vault that they feel safe. The student community is fairly small and close-knit, most commuting from neighboring towns and a few making the half-hour trip from New York City. So when not participating in student organizations or hanging out in the local bars, most students opt to leave White Plains to find entertainment.
