The MBA curriculum kicks off with a 15-week integrated core curriculum that weaves together the foundational courses, after which students can major and minor in six different academic areas. Students can also obtain graduate certification in either social entrepreneurship or global business achievement. If an MBA isn't your thing, Kelley offers a specialized MBA in accounting, as well as MS degrees in information science and accounting.
Though the alumni network is concentrated in the Midwest and most on-campus recruiters are from that area, Kelley also has pull with national companies. Students tell Vault that national job searches can be difficult due to the Indiana location, but about half of students--46 percent of the class of 2008--end up outside the region. Both campuses have the resources of the larger universities and undergraduate populations, but Bloomington is a college town and Indianapolis a somewhat larger city.
