The largest collegiate school of business in the United States, Baruch's Zicklin School of Business has earned a national and international reputation for excellence. The Zicklin School offers degree programs leading to the BBA, MBA, Executive MBA, MS, Executive MS in Finance, Executive MSILR, and the Baruch/Mt. Sinai MBA in Health Care Administration. The school houses the City University's PhD in business and offers a joint degree program leading to the JD/MBA degrees in conjunction with both Brooklyn Law School and The New York Law School. The Zicklin School is located in Baruch's new Vertical Campus building. Honored by the American Institute of Architects, the 17-floor, 800,000 square-foot architectural landmark includes over 100 high-technology classrooms and research facilities; a three-level Athletics and Recreation Complex, including an Olympic-size swimming pool; the Baruch Performing Arts Center, which features a recital hall and theater; an expanded campus bookstore; and a food court. Also housed in the Information and Technology Building is the Baruch Computing and Technology Center (BCTC), the largest student computing center in New York City, which features over 500 computer workstations with Web access and multimedia capability; and the Subotnick Financial Services Center, the only business school resource of its kind in New York, whose centerpiece is the Bert W. and Sandra Wasserman Trading Floor, a fully equipped, simulated trading environment with 42 high-end networked computer workstations, continuous live data feeds, real-time market quotes, and computerized trading models.
