Q. Where do you get your company information?
A. Vault's extensive research includes a wide variety of reliable business sources, including the companies themselves. Our famous "insider" information comes from thousands of employees of the companies covered on our site.
Q. How do I delete a message or part of a message?
A. If you wish to delete a message (or a portion of a message) that you feel is inappropriate or violates the Rules of the Board, click "Report an inappropriate message" located at the bottom of the message or, send an e-mail to community@staff.vault.com with discussion details.
Q. The Vault message boards were recently updated. Can I still use my old Vault screen name to take part in discussions?
A. Yes. Screen names from the pre-existing message board have been preserved, along with many of the discussions. Your screen name will be usable once you’ve logged into your account.
Q. How do I add or delete newsletters?
A. Log into your account, browse to "My Vault" and select "Newsletters and Alerts." Check or uncheck specific newsletters to change your preferences, then click "Save".

Q. How do I cancel my membership?
A. To cancel your membership, login to your account and on the left hand side of the screen, select "Cancel Membership". Please note that by canceling your membership this way, you will lose access to the account for the time that you have already paid for. To maintain membership, but have it terminate after your subscription period, login to your account and turn off your automatic renewal, (if you have it set to "on"). This can be located in the box entitled, "Vault Gold", in the middle of your initial login screen.

Can I access my Vault PDF from another computer?

You can access your download from multiple computers using a process called "Named Activation" made available with Adobe Reader software. Here's how:
Currently, up to 6 machines (Windows, Macintosh, and/or supported PDAs) may be activated to the same Adobe Passport account.

How do PDF downloads work?
A.
All Vault Guides PDFs are delivered in an encrypted format. After purchasing a PDF download, you will be taken to a confirmation page (and receive an email) with a link to your personal download page. From here, the encrypted PDFs can be downloaded onto a disk or your hard drive, but can ONLY be downloaded from the computer at which you made your purchase. We strongly encourage you to purchase PDFs using a personal computer, rather than a public computer.
Q. Are the Vault PDF Guides refundable?

Q. Will I get partial credit back if I choose to cancel before my membership term is up?
A. We do not monitor individual accounts in order to determine refunds based upon partial usage. In accordance with the subscription agreement, the individual subscriber is responsible for the terms of his or her subscription. This includes the price plan under which he or she is billed, and the cancellation of accounts before the automatic renewal date.
