From what I have heard, it used to be a frightening piece of urban blight, but that is not the case anymore. All students live off campus in either two areas. There is only one landlord to go to: Hadley Enterprises. Friends who didn't use Hadley either froze in the winter or were at the mercy of their slumlord. Crime on campus is few and far-between, but some areas of town have high crime and you may hear sirens at all hours of the day. The downtown area is charming, with nice restaurants and shops, and the city comes alive in the summer.
