A profile of current students ranges from some highly experienced and
qualified professionals, to very recent undergrads with almost no work
experience. Many suspect that the "less qualified" members of the
class are there due to "spots needing to be filled to make revenue
targets".

Admission Requirements
a) An undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum B average
(73% or G.P.A. of 8.0) in the last 10 half credit courses taken **
b) A minimum of two (2) years full-time work experience or six (6) co-
op work terms
c) A minimum score of 550 on the Graduate Management Admission Test
(GMAT), or evidence of quantitative skills normally shown by successful
completion of a current (within the last five years) university -level
course in calculus or statistics with a grade of B (73%) or better.
GMAT is recommended to strengthen an application.
d) For students whose degrees was conferred by a non-English language
institution, TOEFL (minimum 550/213), IELTS (minimum 7), MELAB (minimum
90) or CAEL (minimum 70) results are required.
Foreign transcripts that have been assessed by Comparative Education
Service (416-978-2185) may speed up the application process.
e) Three (3) letters of reference. If the applicant's degree is less
than five years old, one academic and two professional references are
required. If the degree is more than five years old, all three
references may be professional
f) A completed application form.
Admission to the Laurier MBA program is competitive, and meeting the
minimum requirements does not necessarily ensure admittance to the
program.
** A number of non degree applicants are accepted into each program,
these candidates usually holding approximately 15 years of full time
work experience at a managerial level. Non degree applicants are
encouraged to take advantage of our pre application assessment service.
