There are many bars, clubs, etc. to choose from. The school has a summer stock session with many good plays, and there is also a community theater. There are several movie theaters in town, including one specializing in art house films. As I mentioned before, Bellingham is one of the best places to live, and outdoor recreation is abundant. The North Cascades are to the east and Puget Sound is to the west. Mt. Baker Ski Area is only about an hour away. There is a semi-active MBA Association that has some social activities on campus. There is no Greek system at WWU.
