The admissions process at WWU is very relaxed. Most applicants who
meet the minimum requirements seem to be admitted. They have also been
known to relax the requirements on occasion. For example, one student
in my class did not meet the minimum undergraduate GPA requirement but
he was admitted on the condition that he maintain a 3.0 GPA while in
the program. Amazingly, he did not get a 3.0 his first quarter - and
they gave him a second chance! The program is a very small one, but
they are trying to increase the size of the program so they tend to be
flexible in the admissions process. (That's not to say that they let
everyone in, I do know that people are rejected even at WWU).
