One of the drawbacks of Olin is the lack of recruiters due to the school's small
size, location, and non-Top 10 reputation. The Weston Career Resources Center
has made great strides in the past few years toward a full service approach and
employer outreach but a lot of students come to the school because they like St.
Louis and want to get a job there after school. In St. Louis, an Olin MBA might
as well be from Harvard but outside of St. Louis or when interviewing at the top
tier consulting or investment banking firms students often must do more work and
a better job selling themselves to get in the door.
