London, ON is a medium sized community of 300,000 people located in
south Central Ontario. The city serves as a centre of commerce,
research, development and medium to light industry for the surrounding
rural areas. It supports several teaching and research hospitals and
two large post-secondary education institutions. There is an active
nightlife in large part supported by undergraduate and graduate student
population attending the University of Western Ontario.
Good housing options are available; single family residences at
University managed Platt's lane; apartments; shared multi-resident
dwellings et cetera. Most in walking distance or located near an
extensive public bus transport system.
Low crime city. Good neighborhoods. The campus district is primarily
white collar workers and/or professionals. Excellent primary and
secondary schools within the city proper.
