Prestige with prospective employers in Canada is quite high. All of the
consulting firms have Ivey alumni as do the investment banks. The school is less
well-known in the US therefore you have to network harder there. Internship
opportunities were limited in 99 but I think that was a function of the economy.
The school does have some in-house consulting placements as well as some roles
for former engineers. Campus recruiting was quite good. They tracked down a
number of prospective employers who recruited at the school.
