Very thorough admissions process. Application documents were available
online and the school was extremely diligent in following up with a
comprehensive marketing package by mail. Provided a list of locally
based alumni who I could speak to. Invited me to local information
sessions coordinated by the admissions office and alumni. Extended an
invitation to come visit the campus, meet with staff, students, and
faculty.
The actual application was extremely detailed, requiring a number of
essays be completed, letters of reference, academic transcripts,
complete history of work experience, community involvement, awards, etc.
Very small percentage of applicants are accepted each year. In 1997,
the first year MBA class consisted of approximately 210 students split
into 3 sections of 70. In 2000, I believe there was a fourth section
added, bringing the total class size to approximately 300 students.
