Employment Prospects Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
The UW has a new 100% policy where they are attempting to get 100% of graduates
jobs by three months out and so far they have been highly successful. I believe
the class that just graduated had over a 90% employment rate which is extremely
high compared to other ranked schools. The career depaartment, or BCC as we call
them, is constantly trying to help you get jobs and works with you on tailoring
your search to your needs. For instance, a person in our class is trying to get a
job in Barcelona, Spain and the school is constantly working to get him the
necessary connections to succeed. They also offer road trips to places such as
NY, LA, SF, Denver, Portland, and SD to get students jobs where ever they are
interested. The UW also has a great advantage in the NW with strong ties to
companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, Alaska Airlines, Vulcan, Deliotte,
Andersen, and Hitachi consulting, and they are increasing their connections to
Seattle's rapidly growing biotech industry. In Seattle, outside of the top 5 to
10 schools, the UW is the best known commodity and can take you a long ways with
all of their connections.
