Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
The admissions process is pretty straight forward. There is the
application that consists of about 3 essays, two recommendations, and
an interview. The interview is optional, but it is a key to getting in.
The UW is all about fit and they really want to get to know the people
that they admit and the interview is the best way to go about this. The
UW is fairly selective. I would recommend you try for at least a 680 on
the GMAT to attempt to get in. GPA of around 3.4 or better in undergrad
is also recommended. You should have at least 3 to 4 years of
experience before you apply. They let in a couple of people each year
who have less than that, but those people are at a big disadvantage to
the rest of us. They seem to struggle more than the average student in
classes such as Strategy and Management where experience proves
invaluable. Another thing to stress when you apply - outside
activities. Clubs are an integral part of the UW experience and people
who simply study and add no value to their fellow student will find
life hard at the UW.
