Quality of Life Survey
Full-time MBA program Austin is a terrific place to live! It is a VERY safe city, with a great cost of living, lots of things to do, great schools for kids (for those students who have kids) and a great place for single people (Austin was actually rated #1 for single people this past year with a median age of 27). Even for married students, the low crime rate, good schools, and places to go make the city hard to resist. The campus is nice. Lots of places to eat, and go to. The MBA program itself has cohort rooms with LAN and wireless high speed internet access (with professors having the ability to turn it off during class). There is a brand new well furnished lounge for the MBAs with study rooms, and an open atrium with an in-house coffee shop and Burger King, also with wireless and internet connections, which is shared with undergraduates. We get free copies of Financial Times. Safety wise, this city just cannot be beaten!
