Students have been doing more to look for jobs outside of the traditional career
services process. A lot of students want to stay in Austin and the school has a
student organization dedicated to helping MBAs do just that. McCombs is the kind
of program where students don't always get initial respect from employers, but
when given the opportunity to go head to head against students from other
programs always do well. As a result, students tend to be a bit 'scrappier'.
