I was fortunate to have been one of the founding students involved in the launch
and management of the MBA Investment Fund back in early 1995 (talk about great
market timing). We finished in the top 5% of all US diversified equity funds in
our first year, and since that time the Fund organisation has grown to include a
value fund to complement our growth fund, as well as a fixed-income fund. The
technology used is state-of-the-art, just as good as any trading desk at any
investment bank or hedge fund. The marketing people have done well in terms of
recruiting as well, with many going to Silicon Valley in the boom and others
around the US and elsewhere. The Career Center is much better and newer than
when
I was there, so the resources there are quite good.
