Whether you are foreign to the UK or not, there are a number of corporate
relationships that are strong with the school, espcially such multinationals as
Unilever and Shell. I had the opportunity to work with Allied Distillers, a
daughter company of Allied Domecq, in Scotland for my thesis. I gained access
to
such a company through the business school and its contacts. I have since
lectured as well as moved forward with (and have almost completed) my PhD in
Organizational Development/Change and Cultural Management. I am currently
employed in a number of strategic roles and OD areas as a contractor with a
number of multinationals. Although those contacts were developed through my own
networking capabilities here in the US, my MBA (and subsequent PhD) helped to
provide me with the critical strength of resolve and confidence necessary to
fulfil my career goals.
