Quality of Life Survey |

Quality of life was stellar. Rochester is a beautiful, small and safe
city, so there is no harried big-city problems. However, Rochester has
plenty to do, so there was never any urgency to split town. After 2
years, my wife and I were ready to leave, but we found we left with
fond memories of the city and school. (We still visit every few
months). Housing is cheap, no more than $800 per month for a 2 BR with
utilities. Campus facilities are great, because it is apart of a much
larger University. Many folks choose to live in the Park Ave. area,
which has a number of outdoor cafes and dining choices. Overall, you
won't find 5-star cuisine, but you'll certainly find a favorite
destination. Try Hogan's Hideaway on Park Ave. for a great "Home Away
from Home".
