I learned of University of Phoenix Online via direct mail advertisement.
Upon phoning the contact number, I was placed in direct contact with an
admissions officer. The officer provided a questionnaire for me to
complete inquiring my educational and professional backgrounds and my
reasons for seeking an advanced degree. I qualified for admission given
I was a working professional for greater than three years. In general,
admission is not selective.
It is particularly important to show initiative during the admission

provide information at length. For instance, I inquired to speak with an
