Free beer & pizza at the MBA Pub every Thursday evening, and fellow students having enough parties on weekends to keep everyone busy & meeting people. The big Latin American student parties each semester were particularly fun and many student groups had funding for nice parties, including food much of the time. Students used recruiting events as opportunities for free drinks & food. There were many inexpensive bars & restaurants around campus and Center City where most MBAs lived. Philadelphia is cosmopolitan enough to have higher end, high rated restaurants when you wanted to splurge. The Greek system was not an element of the MBA world.
