Fun. Very fun. In fact, as grades matter relatively little,
the "networking" scene is awesaome. The three-day week-end begins with
Pub on Thursday night and then usually involves school-wide theme
parties, house parties, intramural sports, club activities, dinners, or
just bar-hoppin on the week-end. Mid-week scene not bad either, cohorts
often have weekly get-togethers. Dating pretty limited, or at least kep
hush-hush.
Center city Philly has some of the best restaurants in the US, including
Le Bec Fin and Stephen Starr's assorment of top eateries. Top hang-out
bars include Roosevelt's, Fado's, Alma de Cuba, the Black Sheep pub, and
20 Manning. And if that isn't enough, NYC is and hour and a half away,
Washington just over two.
Over 100 clubs provide plenty of outlets (and leadership
opportunities...), but favorites include WHALASA, the Latin American
Studens Assoc., Wharton Women, and the Wine Club, which offers some of
the best social events available (not to mention the great wine tasting
experience).
