I appreciate that. Lot of restaurants, bars, stores etc. in our neighborhood. Small enough to meet up with friends and run into random classmates in the street, but big enough to meet people outside the Wharton community. Which can be refreshing! Wharton was good about providing resources on where to live, guides for how much to pay and what services to expect, etc. People warned me about Philly being dangerous but haven't ever felt threatened and walk alone at night by myself a lot.
