As a graduate program, living arrangements vary considerably from person
to person. Many people are married with families. There is a very
small amount of campus housing, but the vast majority of people live in
Center City. The new business school building (Huntsman Hall) is
phenomenal in terms of facilities, technology, and study space. The
campus is in West Philly, which is not the safest part of town, but the
campus is well-lit and security is adequate. I have never felt nervous
for even a moment on campus. There is a lot of restaurants and other
commercial establishments in the area which rely on and cater to the
student population at Penn.
