My job search has gone very well, both when looking for a summer internship and
for full time positions. Multiple offers each time. Helps that I'm relatively
specialized - management consulting and health care. Found alum very receptive to
my exploratory phone calls. Prospective employers seem to have great respect for
us and give us the benefit of the doubt in interviews and informal questions.
On campus recruiting is helpful. Many more companies out there than I'd
realized. We have a dedicated week for interviews for summer internships -it's
grueling for many of us who are meeting with several companies. But it works
because you get in the mindset of interviewing, telling your story, etc.
