Peter Degnan has come in and cleaned house at the Career Management Office. In a
bad economy the vast majority (>90%) of the class of 2003 had a job by the end of
the summer. Yes banking and consulting jobs are more scarce but Peter has done an
amazing job of bringing back "non-traditional" companies to Campus. Out of my
friends, I now have a friend working on strategy for Samsung in Korea, another
doing M&A deals for General Mills, another starting up a pet insurance company,
and of course a bunch doing I-Banking and Consulting.
