Interview is now mandatory and I believe on a invited basis only (though off and on-campus interviews are offered). Application has deadlines rather than pure rolling admissions. I would suggest applying early (first or second round). I would also suggest visiting the campus and getting to know the culture so that you can be more specific in your application about what it is that you like about the school and how you feel you fit in.
