ND had a clear admissions process and support staff that made it easy to
apply and segment yourself into a 1-year (Business undergrad +
significant work experience) or a 2 year program. Essays focused on
more well-rounded achievements - to look at the complete character of a
person and what makes them stand out. The interview process was
comprehensive and conducted by a senior admissions staff member -
interest in: 1) significant work projects that had organizational
impact; 2) how you will contribute to the MBA class; and 3) what draws
you to Notre Dame. Selectivity increases dramatically each year. High
GMAT, impressive work accomplishments, and societal improvement/charity
activities are key. Though my GMAT was probably below the mean for my
class, I was able to pitch myself because of differing industry/career
experience.
