Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA |
I was a third generation Domer. For undergrad, I flipped a coin between
Georgetown and Notre Dame. Nobody in the family had gone to Georgetown,
so I went there. While there, I applied for the 5-year BS/MBA program
and was wait listed. I also simultaneously applied to Notre Dame's MBA.
I was offered a scholarship to Notre Dame, so I took it. Anyway, what
does this have to do with the Admissions Process? Well, I was already
well-acquainted with the admissions process. Also, I think Notre Dame
looks for people who are enthusiastic about Notre Dame. Remember, it's
in Indiana. South Bend is not necessarily a mecca for mid-20's
professionals. Therefore, since a big part of the experience is
the "Notre Dame" experience, having an understanding of Notre Dame and
what it means to you, not just for the specific time you'll be there,
but then in your subsequent alumni life and the service you'll provide,
is an important attribute, I think.
