in my opinion, the main benefit of an MBA program is the network
building. That includes buiilding relationships with people in your
class (not just recruiters). MBS has a strong sense of community. It
is very student driven and many of the fun activities are managed by the
student organizations. If you have a particular area of interest, there
is likely a club for it, both functional (i.e the marketing club) and
extra curricular (ie wine tasting). Or you can start a club to pursue
the interest.
Ann Arbor has a bunch of great bars and restaurants, mostly located on
State Street and Main Street. Most MBAs go to Conors, Full Moon or
Mitchs for bars.
