Housing is typical for a college town. Since all the undergrads begin
looking for housing the Fall before the new year, many of the prime
locations are taken. On the other hand, since most MBAs have also
worked before returning to school, they tend to have higher/more
expensive tastes for housing. Most of the nicer housing options are
further from campus, which most MBAs did not mind.
Ann Arbor thrives because of the grater university community. There is
a lot to do in this Detroit suburb, but quite honestly, my world was so
wrapped up with school I didn't explore much outside of the b-school.
