There are three full MBA programs at Chicago GSB: full-time, evening, and
weekend. The two part time programs (evening and weekend) did not have
on-campus
recruiting opportunities when I was a student, although I have heard this has
changed since I graduated in 2001.
The career development office (CDO) for the part time program is excellent. The
people are some of the nicest and most helpful you'll ever meet, and while your
job search is definitely your own, that's always the case. They help you do it
more effectively and have helped me and others negotiate pay packages when it
gets to that point with employers, also.
The school is very presigious with the bigger employers worldwide, and well
thought of by nearly everyone -- rightfully so. The only "ding" on it is that
many new grads have the value of the degree overinflated in their own minds, so
a
little humility goes a long way.
