Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
Typically everyone applying to the GSB is stellar - very high GMAT
scores, strong work experience that is often in finance, top class
undergraduate school with strong academic record. To distinguish
yourself on your application, demonstrate why you are unique. You have
to cross the bar of basic qualifications, but to get selected you need
to demonstrate that you are MORE than the standard successful candidate.
Definitely go for an interview. While the interview score is only one
part of the candidate rating process, it can add a positive spin to your
application. In the interview, be enthusiastic! Talk about why the
school is your top choice, and demonstrate that you know specific
details about the programs, the professors, the student body, etc.
If you are waitlisted, do not give up! Continue to send supporting
materials for your application (such as letters of recommendation from
key GSB people - students, profs, alumni, etc.) and stay in touch with
the admissions officer, as appropriate.
