Due to the geographic location and the fact that Haas is a public school where
students are not coddled with exorbitant endowment resources, the student body is
incredibly entrepreneurial. This is great given that many people don't want to
leave the Bay Area after lving here anyway and this region has lpenty of
resources to BE entrepreneurial. That said, it can hurt is in national rankings
given that methodologies often depend on Blue Chip company recruiting departments
who don't always mesh well with that culture.
