Career prospects are good for those who are willing to stay in the area or who
are flexible to relocation to those areas where the recruting companies are
located. Most were in the western and central NY area with some from Pittsburgh,
Cleveland, New Your City. If you are looking to move to places like Boston,
however, job prospects were somewhat limited. Jobs and internships are limited.
You should get an early start to get a good internship. There were lots of
International students who had a hard time locating internships and jobs due to
sponsorship issues. There are a few big names that recruit like IBM, Anderson,
Ernst & Young, GE Transportation Systems. The Career Center is fair but you have
to do alot of legwork if you cannot land interviews with recruiters on campus.
