Admission & Application Survey
MBA SUNY Albany is known throughout the SUNY system as having a very strong Business School. It is the most difficult program within the university to be admitted to as an undergraduate and as a graduate student. As a graduate student, the decision to admit is made primarily based on your GMAT scores and your undergraduate GPA. Most students entering have little work experience. The program is small enough however, that you can make appointments with the dean of the Biz school to have your chances for admission evaluated, and to state your case. I found meeting with the dean to be helpful and was admitted "conditionally" - meaning that if I fell below a 3.5 CUM GPA during my first year, they could deny my continued admission.
