Thunderbird is an international management school. If you don't work in or hire
for international management you have probably never heard of it. If you do, we
are one of the first stops for recruiting. Many of the biggest multinationals
recruit here e.g. Johnson & Johnson, Citigroup, Ernst & Young and ING. If you
are not on the e-commerce/investment banking road then it's great. If you
are...pick another school. Like every other school the last year has been slim
pickings both for full time jobs and internships but nearly everybody I know who
looked for a summer internship eventually found something. The Career
Management
Center is pretty good. They have a great selection of information both on
individual companies and on businesses in various countries if you are looking
for something site specific. They run a compulsory seminar in the first
trimester teaching interview skills, resume skills etc. Its useful if you are
graduating in 3 trimesters as the career fair is in the first trimester. They
are starting to use the student body and their contacts to expand recruiting
both
to new companies and to new countries. Overall they are a
good resource.
