Although I was caught in a transition, Thunderbird was renoun for its
Masters in International Management (MIM) and my cohort was the first
to experiment their new strategy which is to offer a MBA in
International Management, it was smooth. Core classes are good, some
professors are incredibly good, some not so good. I would change a
couple of things regarding the core classes but I know they are
following a stricter MBA basis which is good. We do a lot of work on
case studies, the theory is very well incorporated to the cases. The
highlight is the amount of work groups. We are constantly assigned to
work groups which is our biggest learning experience - specially if you
look at our schools demographics. We end up in a team of 7 with 7
different nationalities. Thunderbird understands that the learning
experience required for todays managers goes beyond the books.
