Career prospects are self-serving at Thunderbird. People generally need to
shape and manage their own career search. A counselor is assigned to each
student upon entry to Thunderbird. Jobs and internships are posted on the portal
intranet and can be easily searched. On-campus recruiters visit all the time and
these calendars as well as due dates for applications can be found on the
intranet as well. Prestige with employers is found by the number of diverse
companies that come to recruit on campus at Thunderbird. Thunderbird is heavy on
the pharmaceutical recruiting.
There is a career library with books of ranked companies and industries as well
as guides and internship and job reviews from current and past students. In
addition, mock interview and resume critique seminars are offered all the time as
well as networking breakfasts and lunches.
