For marketing, Thunderbird is a great school, especially for companies that are
global in scope. The reputation for humble, hardworking and intelligent MBAs is
what they come for and find. For finance, T-bird is still building a base,
since
most finance firms hire for quant skills versus overall mgmt, T-bird lacks a
little. Yet there are people who break into banking and other areas of
corporate
finance.
Job & internship opps are great (until the recession that is). A lot of
companies for internships and full time come and those numbers have increased
over the years.
Pretige with employers - for those employers who are global, T-bird is highly
prestigious, for those with little diversity or only domestic operations t-bird
is not well known.
