Admission & Application Survey |
| Full Time MBA |
unpretentious process ! I lived in Nyc, I applied to Columbia in New
York and Thunderbird, Arizona right after 9/11. I was most impressed
with the admission staff at Thunderbird, after four months of waitlist
I got an acceptance to Columbia and within 3 weeks I had an admission
response from Thunderbird, surviving 9/11 I wanted to leave Nyc, I
lived/worked in Europe and Latin America and I did have much knowledge
of Asia. I had never been to Asia. I mentioned this to the recruiters
in an MBA Forum in Nyc and a few days later I got a call from a
Thunderbird Professor who was teaching a finance class in Tokyo & Hong
Kong. Aside from professionalism of Thunderbird staff, I was most
impressed with the Thunderbird program in Asia and the chance for me to
study business from an Asian perspective. Thunderbird has a large
network and presence in Asia.
During interviews and recruiting events, Thunderbird appointed a
current student as my mentor whom provided detailed information not
only on classes but also life in general, where to live, where to eat,
detailed information on professors, teaching styles etc.
